HermeticFeedthroughs
Design of hermetic fiber optic feedthroughs
The KTRAV-M10 reconfigurable hermetic fiber-optic feedthroughs are suitable for vacuum and pressure applications up to 600 bars. They ensure a high level of hermeticity better than 10-10 mbar.l/s.
KeyFeatures
- From vacuum to 600 bars,
- 10-10 mbar.l/s Hermeticity,
- Broad wavelength range,
- Single-channel,
- SM or MM fibers,
- FC/PC, SMA or ST adapters,
- Reconfigurable.
The KTRAV-M10 hermetic fiber-optic feedthrough is a single-channel feedthrough in M10-thread screw-in adapter interface.
It is suitable for high vacuum and high pressure applications up to 600 bars. It ensures a high level of hermeticity better than 10-10 mbar.l/s.
It accepts singlemode fibers, multimode graded-index fibers, as well as multimode step-index fibers up to 1000 μm.
This M10 hermetic fiber-optic feedthroughs can be made with:
- Singlemode fibers,
- Multimode graded-index fibers,
- Multimode step-index fibers.
For fibers with a cladding diameter of 125 μm maximum, it is terminated with either FC/PC or ST/PC connectors.
For core diameters up to 1000 µm, they come with SMA termination.
The KTRAV-M10 is a solution suitable for a panel thickness of 5 to 20.5 mm with a hole diameter of 10.2 mm.
